| | |   | | Shimrin ® Pearl Basecoat PBC30 by House of Kolor Sunrise quart size | Shimrin® Pearl Basecoat by House of Kolor designer pearls is a Universal Base Coat that is much easier to spray evenly than ones mixed in clearcoat. Designer Pearls come in a large array of colors, and may simply be cleared over for a final finish, or even used as a base coat for Kandys. They can be top coated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel Clears or Kandy's. May be reduced 50% with RU reducers (RU 310, RU311, RU312) and can be ordered below. Strain the paint into the paint gun. Gun distance while spraying should be approximately 6 inches. Apply 2-3 medium coats with 75% pattern overlap to achieve coverage, color, and effect. Walk long objects. Avoid dry spraying, as loss of adhesion or mottling is possible with pearls. Again, medium coats work best. Allow flash time between coats. NOTE: Splitting, wrinkling, or cracking may occur when painting too fast without allowing proper flash time or by applying the base too wet and heavy.
